Our systems are web-enabled and through our E-Control solution, we can monitor your Picsolve system remotely. You can receive sales reports, quality assurance and performance data. We can monitor your picture quality, consumable usage, sales revenue and system diagnosis to give you a clear picture of performance.
Further revenue opportunities are available through our onsite e-mail order system, and after sales, via the Picsolve website www.ridephoto.com. Through www.ridephoto.com your customers can order reprints and have their picture featured on mugs, t-shirts or mouse mats. These are just some examples of additional revenue streams a Picsolve solution can offer you.
The same infrastructure allows use to send pictures to mobile phones, deliver a "buy now collect later" service through our Central Production units and offer straight to digital products like mini digital photoframes.
Picsolve are also producing effective on ride video products to capture the full thrill of the ride.
Photos
Delivery of printed photographs uses a range of sizes starting with the base size at 4"x6" and embracing the two most popular sizes of 5"x7" and 6"x9" (or 6"x8"). Larger formats of 8"x10" and 8"x12" or A4 are also supported for premium products. The vast majority of these prints are produced on demand using the latest thermal dye-sublimation printer technology to give a vibrant, borderless print product which is distributed with a folder or frame direct to the customer. Photo production for major installations can also encompass the use of Digital miniLab technology.
DVD
Digital Video technology, whether ride based or static, results in files requiring substantial memory requirements and use of the ubiquitous DVD format allows these movie files to be presented in a universal format. The product encompasses raw imagery, edited highlights and attraction based promotional material to produce a spectacular souvenir product.
Digital Delivery
Whilst the instant print solution remains extremely popular for the vast range of customers the digital delivery of the pictures is a significant enhancement to any system. Images can be sent via an e-mail terminal attached to the system and operated by the customer directly from the sales area. Alternatively, the customer may visit the Picsolve image website and download their full resolution picture file. On an increasing number of sites there is the additional option of requesting the image to be sent to a cellular phone, with the cost of the image being taken from the phone account.
Keyrings & Magnets
A most popular product for the younger customer or those with a more restricted budget is the 2"x3" photo mounted back to back in plastic holder. Using robust multi-head cutters an operator can punch up to four prints in one operation and offer a conveniently sized and cost effective package. In parallel with the keyring it is also possible, using the same print/punch technology but with a single sided mount with magnet, to produce a family friendly product to stick on the fridge at home.
Novelty
Printed souvenir novelty items have long been available but are recognised to take time to produce and achieve a quality product. Picsolve's solution is to offer a park wide integrated production environment with a diverse range of items of which the Mouse Mat, T-Shirt and Mug form the core. Where there is a sufficient demand identified, additional products such as Posters, Jigsaws, Bags, etc. can also be offered, and are ordered directly at the sales unit for collection on the way out of the park. On Park production can be backed up by access to a post-visit website for follow on orders.
