Gary Cormack, Chief Executive
Gary joined Picsolve in November 2007 as Chief Executive. His background is in retail. He has worked for Boots The Chemists, where he was Trading Director and for Superdrug, where he was Commercial Director. He has also worked as Managing Director of Retail Interface Consultancy Limited, a strategic Management Consultancy business focussed on retailers and their suppliers. His international experience includes setting up and running businesses across Europe selling consumer goods to major retailers.
Chris Deeth, Technical Director
Chris completed a Civil Engineering degree at Nottingham University ('73 - '76) and followed this with a PhD in Precision Measurement for Deformation Monitoring ('76 - '79). He took this experience into the land survey market place as a representative for the Swedish instrument manufacturer Geotronics AB where he gradually took on additional responsibility for developments in data collection and software integration. After an extended period in this role he moved to Applications in CADD Ltd as Sales Manager and later as Sales Director promoting and supporting the suite of Survey and Civil Engineering software.
Chris moved to Picsolve (formerly Rx-Technology Europe) at the start of the 1978 season as General Manager. With the continued expansion of the company Chris has concentrated his efforts on the Engineering and Support function initially as Engineering Manage and latterly as Operations Director.
Marc Lunn, Finance Director
Marc is a science graduate and qualified Chartered Accountant, having trained with KPMG Nottingham from 1990 to 1996. Marc elected to further his career in Industry and worked as Site Accountant at Courtaulds Chemicals before moving into the food industry with Express Dairies (subsequently part of Arla Foods). He gained operational experience by working as Finance Manager within a multi-disciplinary site management team, and later became responsible for Group Reporting and Management Information after the establishment of Arla Foods UK plc. Marc joined Picsolve in August 2006 as Chief Finance Officer, managing a worldwide team of finance staff.
Ben Thomas, Sales Director EMEA
Ben joined Picsolve in June 2009 as Sales Director, EMEA. He graduated from Brunel University in 1990 and pursued a career in Sales and Marketing culminating in General Management positions in retail, most recently with Sector Alarm UK. Ben’s professional career includes significant international exposure with responsibility for business to business and business to consumer portfolios. Working in the USA for two years while General Manager of the Marconi videoconferencing division and with geographic responsibility including Europe, Middle East and Africa, Ben took over the Marconi Multimedia (GIP) division with responsibility for sales worldwide and ultimately as VP Global Sales for the Intelligent Networking Division with £650m annual sales. Ben gained operational experience as Managing Director of ECI (UK) responsible for business growth and record EBIT in one of the most challenging cycles in the industry’s history.
Deborah Eicher, Vice President USA
Deborah joined Picsolve in May 2009 as Vice President of North America. Deborah has both an MBA as well as a Bachelor of Business Administration. She was most recently President of Flight Avionics of North America, specializing in partnerships with attractions, museums, zoos and aquariums throughout the United States. In addition, Deborah has a strong background in retail, finance and accounting, having also worked previously as a district manager for a national fashion retailer, a branch manager of Norwest Financial and as a controller for a holding corporation.
