Case Study 1 - Staffing of Photo Operation
Park B, which has one of the highest attendance figures in Europe, wanted to increase revenue and profit from photo sales and to reduce overheads, including costs and management time.
Picsolve was already running the photo operation at this park on a revenue share basis. We offered to take on the staffing of that operation as well. This was agreed. The advantage to the Park was that the management was able to hand over to Picsolve the recruitment and management of the photo staff, reducing their cost base and management time. Picsolve was able to focus on recruiting and training the right staff and as a consequence drive additional sales to the benefit of all. In addition, Picsolve was able to introduce an incentive scheme specifically focussed on photo sales, again enhancing overall revenue.
The result was that photo sales per head increased by 26% in the first year of operation.
Case Study 2 - Picsolve Business Development Team Contribution
Park C operated a walkabout photo system. Our Business Development Team realised that this was a real opportunity that was not being maximised. We proposed a number of changes, key to which was to change the front line staff running the operation. We realised that the personality of, and the way customers were approached by, these front line staff was critical to success. We defined the staffing requirements. We were so confident of enhancing the commercial performance that we agreed to run the staffing side ourselves. We increased sales by 250% year on year.
